Barbara Nahler was a well-known Detroit designer. Her artwork was often shown at the Coach House Gallery.This one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic pottery was purchased from the Coach House Gallery on Van Dyke Place in Indian Village, Detroit, Michigan, in the early 1970s. Nona Herzog owned the gallery.Nona was very active with local artists as well as the Scarab Club downtown. Featured artists included Johanna Haas, NAHLER, Bill Evans, Karen Carter, Mary Lark, Chars Herzog III, and international artists such as Vagh, Miele, and many more.Unique construction and glazing. The basket has a ribbed pattern inside and out, along with the handle.
